Brief History

Taçspor Club, founded in 1947, is one of the most important milestones of Turkish sports community history, banging together sports culture and Turkish society. Countless athletes have been trained within the club especially in tennis, along with basketball, swimming, football and volleyball, by introducing them to the Turkish sports community.


Taçspor Club is moved to Ataşehir area in 1996 and became a part of Galatasaray SK in 2015. The sport club welcomes its members with social facilities on 25 decares of land. Taçspor Club has the objective to serve at the highest level in amateur branches, especially in tennis, and to train young athletes, as a part of Galatasaray SK, a sports culture with over a hundred years experience.


Taçspor Club has one of the three largest tennis infrastructures in Turkey with 11 tennis courts and a center court accommodating 1500 spectators. In addition to its indoor and outdoor swimming pools and facilities offering group classes such as gymnastics, karate and fitness, Taçspor also serves as the clubhouse of the Galatasaray Men's and Women's Volleyball teams.
